The Abrasivestocks 200mm / 8" Airway Buffing Wheel Kit combines one non-woven finishing wheel with four colour-coded cotton airway buffing wheels, providing a practical polishing system for workshop, fabrication, automotive and restoration applications.
Rather than buying individual wheels separately, this kit gives you a selection of polishing wheels suitable for different stages of surface preparation, refining and buffing.
What's Included
Each kit contains 5 x 200mm / 8" polishing wheels:
- 1 × Non-Woven Finishing Wheel
- 1 × Blue Cotton Airway Buffing Wheel
- 1 × Yellow Cotton Airway Buffing Wheel
- 1 × Orange Cotton Airway Buffing Wheel
- 1 × White Cotton Airway Buffing Wheel
The combination of non-woven and cotton wheels allows you to move progressively from surface conditioning and preparation through to polishing and final finishing.
Polishing compound is not currently included.
We are developing matching polishing compounds and intend to offer complete wheel-and-compound polishing systems in the future.
Suitable for a Wide Range of Materials
Designed for polishing and surface finishing on:
- Aluminium
- Stainless steel
- Mild steel and iron
- Brass
- Bronze
- Copper
- Chrome-plated surfaces
- Other non-ferrous metals
They are particularly useful for automotive and motorcycle parts, stainless fabrication, decorative metalwork, restoration work, workshop components and general metal polishing.
One Kit — Multiple Finishing Stages
The non-woven wheel is ideal for initial surface preparation, blending, cleaning and creating a more uniform finish before polishing.
The cotton airway wheels can then be used with the appropriate polishing compound for progressive cutting, refining and final buffing.
Using separate wheels for different polishing compounds also helps reduce cross-contamination between polishing stages.
Large 200mm / 8" Working Diameter
The larger 200mm wheel diameter provides a generous polishing area and makes the kit particularly suitable for larger components and broad metal surfaces.
The airway-style construction allows the cotton sections to flex while working, helping the wheel follow curved and irregular surfaces more effectively than a rigid abrasive disc.
No Special Polishing Machine Required
One of the key advantages of this system is flexibility.
You do not necessarily need a dedicated industrial polishing machine to use these wheels. They can be used with a suitable variable-speed angle grinder, provided that the correct mounting adaptor is used and the operating speed does not exceed the wheel's rated maximum RPM.
For customers carrying out regular or production polishing, the wheels can also be used with suitable professional buffing and polishing machines.

Why Choose the 5-Piece Kit?
Instead of relying on a single polishing wheel for every operation, this kit gives you a practical system for moving through different finishing stages.
Five wheels. One kit. From surface preparation to final polish.
Ideal for professional workshops, metal fabricators, automotive restorers, motorcycle enthusiasts and DIY users who want a flexible metal polishing solution without investing in complicated equipment.
